To me, sustainability is more than just a job description—it's a whole mindset. I actually got my start in civil engineering, which is where I really saw how the materials we choose and the plans we make literally shape the world around us. Over time, it just clicked that making any real progress means finding a balance between growing and preserving, between technology and nature, and between profit and having a purpose. So now, that’s the philosophy I bring to every project I get my hands on, trying to mix good data, smart design, and environmental responsibility to help businesses succeed without costing the earth.

My career path has really been all about growth, taking me from literal concrete foundations to figuring out carbon footprints. After a bunch of years in the construction world, I made the jump to sustainability consulting. Now, I focus on the nitty-gritty of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Embodied Carbon, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). My main job is to translate all that technical stuff into real-world impact, showing manufacturers, designers, and innovators how to find smarter, lower-carbon ways of doing things. Outside of work, I've had a blast mentoring sustainability fellows, tinkering with new eco-tech prototypes, and leading projects that get the whole community involved in climate action. It all just goes to show that sustainability isn't some finish line you cross; it’s about always looking for a better sense of balance.
